Welcome to the fourth week and this week we look at selling web design services.

What Is A Website Design Agency?
A website design agency creates websites for local businesses (primarily).
These websites will advertise what the business offers and is a storefront that people can access from anywhere in the world.
Every small or large business needs a website. So it's a booming industry to be part of right now.
Step One - Your Agency Website
The first thing you need to do is build your own website that advertises what you offer.
We will do this using WordPress.
The aim is for local businesses to visit the website, see what we offer and contact us for more information.

Accepting Payment
Here are several ways to accept payment from your clients:
Paypal - By far the easiest way is to send them a Paypal invoice or set up a payment button.
Bank Transfer - You can provide them your bank details and they can transfer the money directly into your account.
Cheque - If they are a local business, you can call in and pick up a cheque from them, or they can mail you one in the post.
Other Options - Some other online payment systems are WorldPay, Amazon Pay, Sage Pay, Authorize.net and Braintree.
Sample Contract - If the client requires a contract, then here's a sample one you can adapt for your needs.

If a client comes to you for website design, try and sign them up for your monthly SEO service too. Explain the benefits they would achieve when they are ranked at the top of Google.
It's a great way to create a stable monthly income, by providing more service to your clients.
